The Loara Tournament championship semifinals are today at La Palma Park’s Dee Fee Field (or, if you prefer, Glover Stadium). San Clemente plays Long Beach Wilson at 3 p.m. Vista Murrieta plays Lakewood at 7 p.m.
The semifinals winners play in the Loara Tournament championship game Saturday at 7 p.m. at Dee Fee Field/Glover Stadium. The tournament’s third-place game is there Saturday at 3 p.m.

The Newport Elks Tournament’s Frank Lerner Division championship game has Gahr of Cerritos playing Esperanza on Friday at 3 p.m. at Esperanza High. That’s one of the county’s finer fields (as is Dee Fee Field). The Lerner Division is the top division of the 66-team tournament.

The Foothill Division’s championship game is Valencia at Beckman on Friday at 3 p.m. Two solid county teams in that one.
The Orange County Division championship game is Crean Lutheran vs. Whittier Christian at Cypress Park in Irvine, Friday at 2:45 p.m.
The Costa Mesa Division does not have a championship matchup identified as of early this afternoon.
