O.C. boys lacrosse playoffs resume

The top four seeds in the boys lacrosse O.C. Championship tournament have advanced to Wednesday's semifinal round.

Top-seeded Foothill (15-2) will visit No. 4 JSerra (14-4) in one semifinal at 5 p.m. The other semifinal will feature No. 2 Corona del Mar (16-3) playing at No. 3 St. Margaret's (15-2) at 7: 30 p.m.

The winners will advance to the county championship Friday at Trabuco Hills at 7 p.m.

GIRLS LACROSSE PLAYOFFS SET

The Beckman girls lacrosse team is the top seed in the O.C. Championship tournament, which begins Friday with the quarterfinal round.

The Patriots will face eighth-seeded Aliso Niguel at 4 p.m. at Hicks Canyon Elementary School. Foothill, the second seed, will play host to seventh-seed Mission Viejo at 4 p.m. No. 4 St. Margaret's will play host to No. 5 Tesoro at 5p.m., and No. 3 Los Alamitos will play host to No. 7 Trabuco Hills in the other matches.

The semifinal round is set for Monday with the final scheduled for Wednesday at Trabuco Hills.

The winner will then advance to the Southern Section championship, May 9 at 5 p.m. at Trabuco Hills.
