Chambers leads SVC comeback

ALISO VIEJO Saddleback Valley Christian came from behind to beat Calvary Chapel of Downey, 21-20, Friday in the CIF-SS playoffs. 

The Warriors were held to 48 yards of offense in the first half and fell behind 17-0. 

“That was poor coaching, we just were not prepared for that double-wing offense,” Warriors coach Gary Chambers said. 

Saddleback quarterback Brendan Chambers led the comeback, rushing for two touchdowns and throwing for another.
