La Habra vs. Ocean View recap
LA HABRA - La Habra made quick work of Ocean View in a Southeast Division first round playoff game played Friday at La Habra High School.
The Highlanders scored on every first half possession and twice on first half punt returns en route to a 55-7 victory. La Habra (10-0) will play host to San Gabriel in a second-round game next week.
Ronnie Hillman scored touchdowns three of the four times he touched the ball to key the Highlanders’ attack. The junior scored on a 25-yard run and had touchdown catches of 7 and 34 yards.
"The offensive line was doing well, and the quarterback was throwing well," Hillman said.
Chris Morales completed nine of 15 passes for 161 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Highlanders to a 49-0 halftime lead.
Morales sat out the entire second half as did many of the Highlanders starters.
Dana Maley scored on a 13-yard run for the Seahawks.
