Here is a look at some of Friday action from around Southern California.

At the Butch Lee Memorial Tournament:

No. 3 San Clemente 1, San Pasqual Academy 0: Nikki Faris scored the lone goal of the match in the first half to lead the Tritons (1-0-1) to the win at Westview High.

No. 6 Corona del Mar 2, Great Oak 0: Goals from Alexa Mamatas and Emily Krebs lifted the Sea Kings (3-0) to a win at Cathedral Catholic High.

Cathedral Catholic 2, No. 8 Mater Dei 1: The Dons handed the Monarchs (4-1) their first loss of the season at Cathedral Catholic High.

Westview 1, Foothill 0: The Knights (2-1) dropped their first match of the season to Wolverines at Westview High.

Rosary 1, Del Norte (San Diego) 1: A second half goal by Emilee Monnig helped the Royals (2-3-2) tie the Nighthawks at Del Norte High.

At the Irvine Team Challenge:

St. Margaret 3, La Habra 0: Allie Frost scored two of the Tartans three first half goals, as the Tartans (1-0) defeated the Highlanders at Hicks Park. Olivia Miller also scored for St. Margaret's, while freshman Grace Chalmers recorded three assists.

San Juan Hills 1, La Sierra 0: Charline Baum's second half goal lifted the Stallions (2-0-1) to a win over the Eagles at Heritage Park.

El Modena 3, Irvine 0: Kyley Chelwick score two goals in the Vanguards (3-2) win over the Vaqueros at Irvine High. Sarah McMurray added a goal for El Modena.

At the Katella Tournament:

El Dorado 5, Orange 0: Taylor Twomey recorded a hat trick to lead the Golden Hawks (3-2) past the Panthers (0-2) at Katella High. Kaylee Bolin and Sydney Meyer also scored for El Dorado.

At the Linfield Christian Tournament:

Crean Lutheran 3, Calvin Christian 0: The Saints (3-1) received second half goals from Hanna Barney, Jeena Fink, and Clarissa Burnell to post the victory at Linfield Christian High.

At the Ocean View Tournament:

Brea Olinda 3, Mayfair 3: Kaitlin Gishwaller, Kristen Avila, and Aly Moon scored goals, as the Wildcats (1-0-1) scored twice in the second half to tie the Monsoons at Huntington Beach High.

Brea Olinda 1, Marina 0: Gissel Avila's first half goal helped the Wildcats (2-0-1) defeat the Vikings (0-2-2) at Huntington Beach High.

Valencia 2, Calvary Chapel 2: Freshman Sarah Del Valle scored twice, as the Eagles (0-1-1) and Tigers (2-1-1) played to a tie at Ocean View.


Westminster 3, Brethren Christian 0: Maribel Barrera, Rochelle Camarena, and Breezy Friars tallied goals in the Lions (2-3) road win over the Warriors (0-6).
