With the regular season winding down, there are still a lot of league titles that have yet to be decided.

We will get a clearer picture after this week with several key league matches on tap.

Loara and Ocean View meet in the Golden West League. Both teams are 5-0. The teams will also meet Friday.

In the Sunset League, Los Alamitos visits Newport Harbor. In the first meeting, March 30, the Sailors rallied from 0-2 to win the match in five. Newport Harbor begins the week one match behind Huntington Beach.

In the Trinity League, Mater Dei visits Orange Lutheran. It is a big week for the Monarchs and avenging an earlier five-game loss to the Lancers would be a good start.

In the Sea View League, El Toro visits Trabuco Hills. Both teams are in the battle for a playoff berth.

The South Coast League title will be on the line as Dana Hills visits San Clemente. The Dolphins won the first meeting, April 3, in four games. A victory and Dana Hills will become the outright league champion.

Also Thursday, Servite visits Mater Dei. The Friars will be looking to complete the season sweep over the Monarchs. Servite swept Mater Dei in their first meeting, March 29.

Huntington Beach visits Newport Harbor in the Sunset League. The Oilers swept the Sailors in their first meeting, April 3. The Oilers begin the week with a one-game match lead on the Sailors.

This is a big week. Which matches are you attending? Who do you think will have the biggest week? Remember, CIF-SS playoff pairings are released May 5.
