Perry Webster, a former All-County player at Mission Viejo who went on to play at Cal State Fullerton and coach at Saddleback College, was named men’s basketball coach at Fullerton College on Wednesday.
Webster, 26, was All-Orange County first team his senior year at Mission Viejo where he was a starting point guard since his freshman year. He played at Saddleback College and at Cal State Fullerton. He was an All-State player at Saddleback and led the Big West in assists at Cal State Fullerton.
Webster coached at Saddleback the past three years. He played on a Saddleback College state championship team and was an assistant on this season’s Gauchos state championship team.
