JSerra senior nose guard Brody Barrett (6-2, 310) has committed to Division 1-A Appalachian State, Lions assistant coach John Baggerly reports.
Barrett is the second member of the JSerra defense to commit. Defensive end Daniel Bailey committed to Yale.
JSerra opens Trinity League play Friday against Santa Margarita.
