ALL-COUNTY TEAM: The first-team selections are, from left to right, Tucker Peleuses (Newport Harbor), Kyle Caldwell (Newport Harbor), Tony Ciarelli (Huntington Beach), Caden Mulligan (San Clemente), Jeff Carlson (Corona del Mar), Scott Liljestrom (Woodbridge), Steven Shandrick (Santa Margarita) and Gus Ellis (Corona del Mar).

All-County Boys Volleyball Team 

Tony Ciarelli (Sr.), Huntington Beach, outside hitter– The most dynamic hitter in the county had 433 kills, 210 digs, 45 aces, 40 blocks and a hitting percentage of .350.

Jeff Carlson (Sr.), Corona del Mar, outside hitter– He had 289 kills, 22 blocks, 171 digs and 50 aces for the Sea Kings, who reached the Division II semifinals.

Tucker Peleuses (Sr.), Newport Harbor, opposite hitter– The Sailors' co-captain had 339 kills, 68 digs, 41 blocks and 12 aces for the Sunset League champions.

Steven Shandrick (Sr.), Santa Margarita, middle blocker– The Trinity League co-MVP had 357 kills, 31 solo blocks, 124 block assists and 11 aces to lead the Eagles to the Division I semifinals.

Gus Ellis (Sr.), Corona del Mar, middle blocker– The Pacific Coast League MVP had 237 kills, 73 blocks, 37 digs and 5 aces.

Scott Liljestrom (Sr.), Woodbridge, setter– The Sea View League co-MVP had 437 assists for the Warriors, who went unbeaten in league and had a team hitting percentage of .400.

Caden Mulligan (Sr.), San Clemente, libero– The South Coast League MVP had 255 digs and 139 serving points for the league-champion Tritons.
