Highlights from Friday's softball playoff games:

Division III

Laguna Hills 6, Santa Fe 0:
Lauren Lastrapes went 2 for 3 with a three-run home run and 4 RBIs to lead the host Hawks. Christine Gomez threw a five-hit shut out for her 11th win.

Garden Grove 1, Kaiser 0: Briana Williams’ single drove in Kathryn Hermann with two outs in the top of the 11th inning for the game-winning run. The Argonauts avenge a 1-0 loss to Cats in the first round of last year's playoffs. Caitlin Bradac pitched a four-hitter with 18 strikeouts for the win.

Fullerton 2, Oaks Christian 0: Lindsey Rains, who went 2 for 3, layed down a two-out bunt single in the first to start the host Indian’s offense. Jackie Taylor then drove in Reigns with a double. Becca Takkinen hit a shot down third base line allowing Taylor to score on an error. The two runs were sufficient as Katey Laban tossed a two-hitter with 10 strikeouts and no walks.

Beckman 2, La Habra 0: The host Patriot’s two-run first inning proved to be enough for victory as pitcher Jasmin Harrell allowed only two hits, no walks and struck out nine batters improving her record to 13-2 on the season.

Sonora 4, Oak Park 3: Alexa Limon pitched a no hitter through five innings for the visiting Raiders (17-11). Katie Rooks went 3 for 4 with a run scored and Alexis Caciopo 2 for 3 with two RBIs in the four-run fourth inning.

Rancho Alamitos 2, Irvine 1: Kari Guitierrez gave up only one hit in her complete game shut-out of visiting Irvine High. She also added an RBI for Rancho.
