Highlights from Friday's CIF-SS playoff gamesDivision II
Vista Murrieta 4, Valencia 2: The Tigers scored two runs in the third inning to go ahead 2-1, but could not hold off the host Broncos who added a run in the fourth and two in the fifth to secure the victory.
Pacifica 7, Canyon Springs 2: Andrea Harrison, who went 2 for 3, led off the game with a home run for the visiting Mariners. Kristen Arriola also went 2 for 3, with 3 RBIs. Katie Tamayo pitched a complete game with four strike outs for her seventh victory of the season.
Tesoro 9, Canyon 1: Lund went 2 for 4 with a home run, double, and three RBIs for the visiting Titans (16-8-1). Starting pitcher Pappas (12-5) struck out 11 batters and walked four, earning the win.
El Modena 3, Chaffey 2: Kylie Wagner delivered a two-run single with two outs in the bottom of the seventh as the Vanguards rallied to beat the visiting Tigers.
