Spring Insider: Five questions with Anthony Wilkerson
Question: Who's the NFL player you see yourself playing like?
Anthony Wilkerson: I want to say, probably, (New England's) Laurence Maroney. He's a power runner, fast. He never gives up on the run and always runs hard.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do, your favorite part of the game?
AW: Getting a big hit on someone, when I got the ball and I run over somebody. It doesn't have to be a touchdown.
Q: Are you the best running back in the county?
AW: There's a lot of good running backs. I'd like to think so. I don't want to be too cocky. I'm a humble dude. I'd say I'm a good running back.
Q: What are your personal goals this season?
AW: I want to get back in the playoffs. And we want to make a run. I want to at least get over 2,000 yards this year.
Q: What is something people don't know about you?
AW: I write a little bit of poetry, every other night, anytime I get the chance, (about) football, life, anything I'm going through at the moment. It's just to get my mind off of things.
