Biggest question to answer this spring:How will Cypress replace the production of RB/WR/DB/KR/K Ryan Saumur?
Outlook: The Centurions nearly missed the playoffs en route to winning the Southern Division title. They had as many all-league players — nine — as Loara and were a two-win team just two years ago. But they still have their coach, Ray Fenton, who has turned the program around in three years. It will be interesting to see what he does now that there are some players who have been with him their entire high school career. Pacifica might also have enough to make another division title run behind quarterback Raymond Huizar and running back Josh Brannon, although competing in the Southwest Division will present a different challenge for both teams. Kennedy loses Coach Mitch Olson and Valencia loses All-County back Wes Fletcher. Both teams have been contenders the past few years but might experience rebuilding seasons.
