Century League: Biggest question and outlook
Biggest question to answer this spring:
Can any team in this league pose a threat to the two-time Southwest Division champion Golden Hawks?
Outlook:El Dorado replaces nearly all its playmakers for the second consecutive year, but brings back league MVP Kane Wilson, one of the best quarterbacks in the county. The Golden Hawks have won 12 consecutive league games and don’t look to be slowing down. Tustin might be the wildcard here. It struggled through a rebuilding season and missed the playoffs, a rare occurrence. Don’t expect that to repeat itself as the Tillers ride the legs of standout running back Anthony Wilkerson. Canyon is the other probable playoff representative, but Brea Olinda and El Modena surprised in 2007 and Villa Park is traditionally a contender.
