Lyle Lansdell (5th year, 8-29-3)

OUTLOOK:
With a new quarterback and receiving corps, Lansdell does not see his passing game being as strong as it was last year. He is easily the longest tenured coach in the league, however, and with 11 starters returning he leads one of the more experienced teams.

HOME STADIUM:
Orange Coast College

FACTOID:
Sixteen seniors are starting for the Eagles.

FASTEST:
Brandon Snook, Jordan Trujillo

STRONGEST:
Cameron McPhie, Jim Cooper

Zach Smith: He made all-league after co-leading the team in tackles and rushed for 371 yards and five touchdowns.
Danny Panduro: The all-league center doubles as a linebacker where he co-led the team in tackles.

LAST SEASON:
5-6, 3-0

POSTSEASON:
2006, lost to Valencia, 55-0, first round of the Southern Division

COACH:
Jonathan Todd (1st year)

OUTLOOK:
Expect the defense to lead the way as four all-league members are back. And behind 14 returning starters, including league co-offensive MVP Charley Bowman at quarterback, the Breakers are league favorites again. That could change if they struggle to score like they did last year — they had 20 combined points in their six defeats.

HOME STADIUM:
Laguna Beach High

FACTOID:
Todd holds the school’s season rushing record with 1,480 yards in 1986.

FASTEST:
