Night of stars: Riley, Anderson, Thompson set for O.C. All-Star Games

Orange County basketball players of the year Jerime Anderson of Canyon and Kristin Riley of San Clemente will play in the Kiwanis/PlyoCity Orange County All-Star Basketball Games on Saturday at Ocean View High.Anderson, 2007-08 county boys player of the year, will play for the North in the boys large-school game. Riley, county girls player of the year, will play for the South in the girls large-school game. Anderson signed with UCLA, Riley with BYU.
Also playing Saturday is state Division III boys player of the year Klay Thompson of Santa Margarita. Thompson, playing for the South in the boys large-school game, signed with Washington State.
Here is the schedule for the four-game event:
Girls small-schools game: 3 p.m.
Boys small-schools game: 4:45 p.m.
Girls large-schools game: 6:30 p.m.
Boys large-schools game: 8:15 p.m.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and children.
