Baseball playoffs: Division IV highlights

Highlights from Friday's CIF-SS playoff games:
Division IV
Sonora 14, Oak Park 0:Nik Koski and Julian Duran led the host Raiders at the plate, each going 3-3 with two RBIs. Steven Cerda pitched the first three innings with two strike outs and earned the win.
Savanna 3, North Torrance 0:Mitch Sianez pitched a complete game shutout giving up three hits and striking out 12. He allowed only one-runner to reach second and earned the win. Josh Cunningham homered for the second time in the last three games for the host Rebels.
St. Joseph/Santa Maria 8, La Habra 7: Despite scoring seven runs in the first three innings, the Highlanders were unable to put a run on the board over the last four and were upset by the visiting Knights. Three of La Habra's five hits came in the five-run first inning. The Highlanders received help as St. Joseph/Santa Maria committed four errors in the first.
