The starting time of Huntington Beach vs. Norco in a Division 1 semifinal Tuesday at Blair Field in Long Beach was changed to 4 p.m.
Mission Viejo’s home game against Crescenta Valley will start at 4 p.m. on Tuesday. That is a Division 2 semifinal. Crescenta Valley has final exams earlier in the day.
The Division 1 semifinals usually are played as a doubleheader at Blair. It made more sense to have the other Division 1 semifinal, Saugus vs. Hart of Newhall, near those schools’ location so that game is at College of the Canyons on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
Huntington Beach-Norco is the only semifinal at Blair on Tuesday and will begin at 4 p.m.
All other semis are at 3:15 p.m.
The Blair Field ticket windows open at 3 p.m. Tuesday. Admission at Blair is $8.00 for
adults and $5.00 for students with valid student identification and for children 12 and younger.
Mission Viejo won and San Clemente lost coin flips Saturday that decided home teams for CIF-SS baseball semifinal playoff games.
Mission Viejo will be home Tuesday for its Division 2 semifinal against Crescenta Valley. San Clemente is at Chino Hills for Tuesday’s other Division 2 semifinal.
Sunny Hills is at South Torrance for a Division 4 semifinal Tuesday. South Torrance has had fewer playoff home games than Sunny Hills at this point of the playoffs, so South Torrance is the home team. If they had the same number of playoff home games then a coin flip would determine home team.
