Fountain Valley standout junior swimmer Carly Perri will miss the season due to a fractured rib, Barons coach Mike Nichols reports.
Perry finished fifth in the 100-yard butterfly (55.56 seconds) at the CIF-SS Division 1 finals last season and was one of the top returners in the event in the division.
Perri suffered the injury in January and hasn’t swum much since, Nichols said. In December, she blast a 54.54 in the fly in a club meet with the Novaquatics.
