San Clemente all-league safety Andrew Frohner (5-10, 170) has committed to Division III Cal Lutheran, Tritons football coach Jaime Ortiz reports.
The senior was the Tritons’ fifth-leading tackler with 69 last season and tied for the team-lead with four interceptions.
In other San Clemente recruiting news, San Clemente junior quarterback Jack Sears was offered by Northwestern over the weekend on an unofficial visit.
Sears plans to visit Harvard and Boston College today and Duke on Wednesday, Ortiz said.
