San Clemente junior tight end Cole Fotheringham (6-4, 215) has been offered by Utah, Tritons football coach Jaime Ortiz reports.
Fotheringham led the Southwest Division runner-up this past season with 50 receptions for 585 yards and eight TDs.
He also is being recruited by Washington, Cal, Missouri and Oregon and holds a 4.0 grade-point average. Fotheringham also is San Clemente’s junior class president.
In other San Clemente recruiting news, defensive back Jake Russell (5-10, 170) has been offered preferred walk-ons at USC and UC Davis. Russell was voted San Clemente’s Nick Pasquale Triton of the Year as the team’s overall MVP.
