With the football playoffs heating up, there are some risers in my O.C. rankings.
Santa Ana Saints (12-0), welcome to my Top 25. Edison Chargers (11-1), the No. 4 spot in the county belongs to you after an impressive 38-21 victory against Buena Park. CdM Sea Kings (11-1) and Chase Garbers, you’re Top 10 material in my book headed to the Division 4 semifinals.
Buena Park’s fall pushed down La Habra, which fell to the Coyotes in a league game. But La Habra is clearly a different team now headed to the Division 2 semifinals.
One interesting team is San Juan Hills. The Stallions’ 24-17 against Edison earlier this season certainly looks more impressive now.
