Catching up on some football recruiting news:

* Cypress junior wide receiver/defensive back Quinten Pounds (6-1, 180) has been offered by Washington State and is receiving interest from Cal, San Diego State and San Jose State, Centurions football coach Rick Feldman reports. Pounds also has been offered by Colorado.

* Buena Park wide receiver/defensive back Jaylinn Hawkins and offensive lineman Keven Dixon — both juniors — have been offered by Colorado State, Coyotes football coach Anthony White reports.

*Orange Lutheran junior defensive end Keisean Lucier-South has been offered by Nebraska, his father, Sean, reports.

* JSerra junior quarterback Nick Robinson has offers from Florida International and Florida Atlantic of Conference USA and Louisiana-Monroe and Arkansas State from the Sun Belt, the Lions report.

*Fountain Valley senior wide out Noah Rivard (6-1, 180) has committed to Chapman while senior defensive back/athlete Jacob Church (6-0, 180) has committed to La Verne, Barons football coach Ray Fenton reports. Church was selected to the South roster for the O.C. all-star game.

* Segerstrom running back/linebacker Ben Lopez (5-9, 185) and offensive lineman Alex Juarez (6-5, 250) have committed to La Verne, Jaguars football coach Mike Maceranka reports. 

* Servite junior cornerback Maurice Davison has been offered by Idado and Eastern Washington, Friars football coach A.J. Gass reports.

* San Clemente junior quarterback Sam Darnold has been offered by Northwestern, Tritons football coach Jaime Ortiz reports.

* Los Amigos all-league senior wide receiver/defensive back Alexis Ocegueda has signed with NAIA Missouri Valley College, Lobos coach Carl Agnew reports. 

* La Quinta wide receiver Vincent Hebble, pictured above left, has signed with Division 3 La Verne while defensive end Daniel Nguyen, pictured above right, has signed with NAIA Graceland in Iowa, Aztecs coach Andy Diaz reports.
