Several Orange County water polo products were selected to the U.S. men’s and women’s teams for the Pan American Games next month in Toronto.
The men’s selections included goalie McQuin Baron (Mater Dei), John Mann (Corona del Mar), Josh Samuels (Villa Park), Luca Cupido (Newport Harbor) and Bret Bonanni (Mater Dei).
The women’s team features Makenzie Fischer (Laguna Beach), Rachel Fattal (Los Alamitos), Kaleigh Gilchrist (Newport Harbor), Courtney Mathewson (Canyon) and Maddie Musselman (Corona del Mar).
The U.S. men’s team can qualify for the 2016 Olympics by capturing the Pan American Games.
