High-scoring Sunny Hills water polo player Kate Vera, who scored 121 goals this past season, has committed to Whittier College, Lancers water polo coach Keith Nighswonger reports.
Vera, from the class of 2014, also was selected all-CIF Division 4 this past season.
Whittier College finished third in the SCIAC last season and 22-16 overall.
