Valencia junior Brittany Park posted a 1-over-par 73 in the final round of The Yang Foundation Junior at Wood Ranchon Thursday in Simi Valley to finish second in the 54-hole AJGA Tournament with an even-par 216.
She entered Thursday’s round tied for first in the girls division after shooting a 1-under-par 71 during the second round on Wednesday.
It was the third top-five finish of her AJGA career and her best restult since she won the Stockton Convention & Visitors Bureau Junior All-Star last August.
Recent Servite graduate Brandon Brame finished with a 6-under 66 on Thursday to place second in the boys division with a 6-under-par 210. It was his second round in the 60s during the tournament as he opened with a 5-under-par 67 which put him in a tie for first.
