The Freeway League boys water polo match Monday between Sonora and host Troy, which went overtime but wasn’t completed, will be discussed by the Fullerton school district on Friday, Warriors coach Jason Wilson said.
The teams played the first three-minute overtime but didn’t play the normal second three-minute overtime after officials discovered that the teams mistakenly switched sides after the end of regulation, Wilson said.
The teams were tied, 11-11, after the end of the fourth period and Sonora led, 12-11, after the first three-minute overtime.
