Ostrom, 25, is having trouble moving, however, because of a compression fracture in his back, Whitney said.

Ostrom and his inspiring story were profiled by The Orange County Register earlier this monthOCVarsity.com plans to keep readers updated on his status. The story contains support websites for Ostrom, a former South Coast League and Air Force MVP who became a pilot in the Air Force.
