Could another O.C. quarterback be headed to UCLA?
That’s a more relevant question after rising San Clemente junior Jack Sears was offered by the Bruins on Tuesday.
San Clemente football coach Jaime Ortiz reported that UCLA extended the offer after watching Sears practice with the Tritons. Cal, Northwestern and San Diego State also were in attendance.
In February, UCLA signed All-County quarterback Devon Modster out of Tesoro.
In other football recruiting news, Edison lineman Mike Saffell was offered by UNLV.
