Hey Softball Fans!!!

Whose ready for the start of the Women's College World Series tomorrow?!? I sure am!! So is Michigan Softball!!

Today has definitely been quite the day! We didn't do anything until 4 PM!! Except for Ashley Lane who had a press conference with Hutch and all the other coaches and players. Of course, she did fantastic!

Once 4 hit half of the team went to the stadium and were interviewed by ESPN and had our pictures taken! You know those pictures of just the individual player after an inning, like a pitcher striking someone out, or a clutch hit was made. Those were the pictures taken today, and now you know when we do them! It was great! we got to smile, be seriious and show our game face!

After we had a fun 1 1/2 (hours) of media day we were headed off to practice! But some rough Oklahoma weather was keeping us from playing on the ASA Hall of Fame Stadium today! :( Kinda sad. It was pouring, thunder, lightning, and windy for a while! I admit it was a little scary, and I love thunderstorms!! But a little rain wasn't going to stop us from practicing somehow. We went to inside batting cages and practice began! It was a great hitting session, and plus (I) got some pitching in as well! It's been overall an amazing second day in OKC! And I know it's just going to keep getting better and better from here!!

Also, since being here the NCAA has provided us with a ball that has the WCWS logo on it. We've had the logo sewn on our jerseys, and we are receiving our WCWS Michigan shirts soon!! I absolutely love this team and how blessed I am! Im enjoyimg every moment of this! Hey, how many tomes do you get to go to the World Series?? This still isn't real to me and I can't wait to finally step onto the ASA Hall of Fame Stadium tomorrow and see my dreams come true!! Can't wait for tomorrow!! I know everyone is itching for game time!

Hope everyone watches!!

Michigan vs. Oklahoma at 8:30 CT (6:30 Cali time!) on ESPN 2! Gunna be a great game!

GO BLUE!!!
