Santa Margarita's football team won CIF-Southern Section and state championships.

Aliso Niguel's girls soccer team won a CIF-Southern Section championship, too. Aliso also was the No. 1 team in the nation, according to at least one ranking system.

Mater Dei's boys basketball team won section and state titles. So did the school's girls basketball team. Mater Dei boys water polo went undefeated.

Was one of those teams Orange County's best team of the 2011-12 high school sports year? Or was another team the county's best of this school year?

Click through the slideshow for our ranking of the top 10 sports teams of 2011-12, starting with team No. 25 and counting down to team No. 1.
