Football recruiting: JSerra quarterback lands first offer

JSerra senior quarterback Jake Hall (6-5, 195) has been offered by UNLV, Lions coach Jim Hartigan said in an e-mail Thursday.

The Rebels are the first school to offer Hall but other Division 1-A programs are recruiting him.

He also is receiving interest from San Diego State, Nevada and UCLA, Hartigan said.

Hall becomes the second Orange County senior quarterback to receive a Division 1-A offer. The other is San Clemente's Travis Wilson, who committed to Utah.

Hall is having a solid season for JSerra. He enters Friday's Trinity League game against Santa Margarita with 1,113 yards, 15 TDs and four interceptions. He has completed 59 percent of his passes.
