Junior quarterback Josiah Norwood, the 2016 Freeway League offensive player of the year, has left Troy and transferred to Santa Margarita, his father Ed Norwood posted on Facebook.
Norwood, 5-foot-11 and 165 pounds, passed for 856 yards and six touchdowns and rushed for 561 yards and six touchdowns during the 2016 season.
Santa Margarita’s starting quarterback of the ’16 season, Richard Wagner is a senior who will be at Cornell this fall.
