There are several key league meets in swimminto watch this week along with an injury to monitor.

The duels start today with Valencia at Cypress in the Empire League and continue Wednesday with No. 5 Corona del Mar boys at No. 3 University. Sonora also plays host to Sunny Hills in the Freeway League on Wednesday.

On Thursday, Santa Margarita’s No. 1 boys race at No. 2 Mater Dei in one of the best dual meets of the season. In the Sea View League on Thursday, the No. 10 Mission Viejo boys play host to Aliso Niguel in another intriguing meet.

On the injury front, Corona del Mar senior Tim Hanson is recovering from a shoulder injury and is questionable to race this season, his step-father and Aquazot coach, Brian Pajer, said.

Last season, the Michigan-bound Hanson finished ninth in the 200-yard free and 11th in the 500 free at the CIF-SS Division 1 finals.
