Mater Dei All-County defensive lineman Malik McMorris (6-0, 290), who will play in Sunday’s Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl at StubHub Center, is starting to rack up the scholarship offers.
The senior reports that he has been offered by Army, Holy Cross, UC Davis, Azusa Pacific, Virginia Union and received a preferred walk-on from Cal.
McMorris made an official trip to Holy Cross in mid-December and came away impressed. “It was cool. It definitely exceeded the expectations,” he said.
He also is interested in taking trips to UC Davis and Cal. The Bears also are interested in McMorris as a fullback or defensive lineman.
