There’s plenty of tournament action to follow this weekend in boys water polo. A couple highlights:
No. 1 Mater Dei and No. 2 Huntington Beach tangle tonight at the California Elite 8 at Harvard-Westlake in Studio City at 6:15. Watch the live stream here
Mater Dei and Huntington Beach each opened the first-year event with victories on Thursday. The Monarchs sank Agoura, 15-4, behind four goals by Christian Hockenbury while HB beat Miramonte, 16-10, behind eight goals by Ethan Wojciechowski.
The Segerstrom Jaguar Invitational opens Friday at San Juan Hills and Segerstrom. The Western tournament also starts Friday afternoon.
