Mater Dei boys water polo goalie Nolan Strout has committed to Pepperdine, Monarchs coach Chris Segesman reports.
The senior made 180 saves in the fall to help Mater Dei recapture the CIF-SS Division 1 title.
Strout was Mater Dei’s second consecutive one-year starter in cage in the post-McQuin Baron Era. He also is the sixth player from Mater Dei’s 2015 championship team to commit to a four-year school.
