Santa Margarita junior quarterback KJ Costello, OCVarsity.com’s top-ranked recruit in the class of 2016, will announce his college decision Thursday at Santa Margarita, he said in a recent post to Twitter.
“I am blessed and honored to say that I will be announcing my college commitment at Santa Margarita High School at 2:45pm on March 26th,” he wrote Friday.
Costello said at the recent Nike Football Opening Regional camp at Redondo Union that he had narrowed his decision to three schools: USC, Stanford and Michigan.
Costello plans to make his announcement at the school’s athletic complex.
Last season, he set 11 individual passing records at Santa Margarita, including most yards in a season (3,122).
