Alyaa Abdulghany, the reigning CIF State Champion, posted one of the lowest scores ever recorded in county history on a par-36 course, shooting an 8-under-par 28 on the front nine at El Niguel Country Club.
Her score helped the Sea Kings open the season with a 202-206 victory against Aliso Niguel.
