Kennedy senior water polo center Zachary Minott (6-1, 220), a fourth-team All-County pick, has signed with Long Beach State.
“Very under-rated,” Kennedy coach Eric Pierce said of Minott, who scored 151 goals in the fall to help the Fighting Irish capture the Empire League title.
Minott plays club for International. His late father, Gary, who died of throat cancer, serves as a major source of motivation. Minott also carries a 4.0 grade-point average.
