Santa Margarita All-County offensive lineman and USC commit Brett Neilon played for the West in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Saturday in San Antonio.
The East defeated the West but that wasn’t the main takeaway for Neilon. Here are a few comments the senior center shared about his time at the all-star game:
“It was a lot of fun to honor the troops that serve for the country and be recognized as an All-American. I met so many great players and got myself better by competing. This is an experience I’ll never forget and will look back on for the rest of my life. … It was cool to come together with elite athletes and be a team.”
