Dean Lappin resigned as football head coach at Loara, school athletic director Scott Wilson announced.
Lappin the Saxons for nine seasons. His cumulative record at Loara is 38-56. The Saxons in 2014 were 1-9 overall and 1-4 in the Golden West League.
Wilson said Lappin resigned to create more family time.
