Laguna Hills standout wide receiver/athlete Logan Montgomery announced Friday afternoon that he has committed to Princeton.

The senior said he picked the Tigers — tied for first in the Ivy League — over Harvard, Northern Arizona and Yale.

“(Princeton) recruited me as a slot receiver,” Montgomery said in a direct message via Twitter. “Their head coach (Bob) Surace said I can play inside, outside, some RB/H-back, returner and even some DB if needed.

“So pretty much what I did at Laguna Hills this past year. … Princeton was the best overall fit for me.”

This past season, the speedy Montgomery racked up 19 TDs in 11 games, 53 receptions for 973 yards and also rushed for 287 yards. He also averaged a national-leading 32.4 yards per punt return and 26.3 yards on kickoff returns.

He finished with 2,330 all-purpose yards.

Montgomery also had 85 total tackles, blocked three field goals, recovered four fumbles and had four INTs.
