Marina water polo player Luka Karaman has committed to USC, his father and coach, Tony Karaman, reports.
Karaman (6-4, 180) was born in the United States but grew up in Croatia, where he played for the world-renowned Jug club in Dubrovnik.
The senior observed the Southern Section’s sit-out period this fall – his only season in Orange County — but impressed with 65 goals, 68 assists and 55 steals in 16 games.
The right-handed Karaman joins a USC recruiting led by Mater Dei left-handers Thomas Dunstan (U.S. national team) and Luke Wyatt.
