Buena Park junior wide receiver AJ Allen has committed to Colorado, Coyotes football coach Anthony White reports.
Allen (6-2, 175) is the first junior in O.C. to report a commitment to a Division 1-A school.
He entered Friday’s game against Sonora with five catches for 45 yards and one touchdown. He had 26 receptions for almost 300 yards as a sophomore at Buena Park.
He is the fourth Buena Park player to commit to a Division 1-A school, joining receivers Jeremiah Hawkins (Cal), Taariq Johnson (Cal) and lineman Ryan Nelson (Buena Park).
