JSerra defensive back/quarterback/wide receiver Riley O’Brien (5-10, 165) has committed to Penn, a move that could reunite the junior with his brother, Conor.
Riley was a versatile contributor last season, playing quarterback and defensive back for the Lions.
His brother, Conor O’Brien, played receiver and defensive back and will be a freshman at Penn in the fall. The brothers will join former JSerra defensive back Sam Philippi at the Ivy League school.
Penn tied for first in the Ivy League last season with Harvard and Dartmouth and finished 7-3 overall.
JSerra players have been gravitating to the Ivy League. Former All-County defensive end D.J. Bailey signed with Harvard.
