Mission Viejo quarterback Brock Johnson, who led the Diablos to CIF-SS West Valley and CIF State Division I-AA titles, has scheduled a recruiting trip next to FCS Georgetown, said Bob Johnson, his coach and grandfather, on Monday.

Georgetown is the first school that Johnson has scheduled an official recruiting trip with.

The Hoyas play in the Patriot League but also played three Ivy League teams last season. They finished 4-7 in 2015.

Last year, Georgetown landed Corona del Mar standout defensive lineman Harrison Carter.

Johnson passed for a school-record 41 TDs and was selected South Coast League MVP for the Diablos (16-0).
