Mission Viejo quarterback Brock Johnson is enjoying a stellar season, especially in the South Coast League, and his college recruiting is picking up.

The senior said last week that he has been offered recently by NAIA Cincinnati Christian and is hearing regularly from Georgetown, Harvard and Princeton.

During the summer, Johnson attended camps at Harvard, Brown and Villanova.

“I liked all three schools,” he said.

Johnson also attended a camp at Stanford. He holds an overall grade-point average close to 3.9.

The past two weeks, he rallied Mission Viejo past Tesoro and completed 17 of 20 passes in a victory against San Juan Hills. The Diablos and Johnson have won 21 consecutive games, the second-longest active streak in the state.

Johnson also could be an intriguing candidate for postseason all-star games. He is not planning to play basketball this winter.
