Former USC and NFL receiver Keyshawn Johnson, left, now an ESPN football analyst, has been added to the Mission Viejo football coaching staff.

Mission Viejo coach Bob Johnson confirmed Tuesday that Johnson will help coach Diablos receivers.

Bob Johnson's son Rob also coaches receivers at Mission Viejo. Rob Johnson and Keyshawn Johnson were teammates at USC.

Keyshawn Johnson has a football-playing son who will be a freshman at Mission Viejo this fall.

Bob Johnson said it is understood that Keyshawn Johnson's ESPN commitments will place some limits on Keyshawn's availability at Mission Viejo.

“Keyshawn will be at every Tuesday and Wednesday practice, and those are the most important practices of the week,” Bob Johnson said. “He will be at at least half of our games.”
