Honors include: CIF-SS Division IV team champion, All Orange County first team, All CIF-SS second team, Empire League MVP, Empire League individual singles champion, Valencia team captain, 2007 Evelyn Houseman Junior Sportsmanship Award for lifetime scholarship. 2008 CIF/Farmers Scholar-Athlete of the Year. 2008 selection for the Maze Cup team.
Other activities: IB candidate, AP scholar with distinction, California Scholarship Federation lifetime member, National Honors Society. Volunteers at St. Jude Medical Center, assistant in tennis instruction for beginners, private math tutor.
Plans: Undergrad degree in chemistry, and possibly minor in business/economics/Chinese. Go to med school and specialize in sports medicine. To be ranked singles and doubles top 20 in nation in college rankings.
